The Possibilities in Prayer

Individuals that say,”I’m praying for you” are stating that I have a belief in God. They, at least, believe in the idea of prayer.

In other words, they believe there’s a celestial being that hears and contrasts prayer and makes some decision about everyone.

Can you pray? Perhaps you have had a response to one of your own prayers? Do you believe that God hears you when you pray? Could we expect Him to answer each prayer? Why does he look to answer some prayers while neglecting to reply others?

My Assumptions are Correct

If my assumptions are right that God hears and answers prayer then there has to be great chances. Without apology I submit to you there are deep possibilities. A child of God might learn no greater lesson than the one Jesus shared with His disciples when they asked Him to instruct on this topic.

“And it came to passthat, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.” -Luke 11:1

We see in the very first of His schooling that praying is stating. When you beg,”state”. Keep this idea in mind. It’s crucial. In this specific lesson he’s instructing the disciples that they are supposed to address God in prayer.
